Dedicated to the memory of Michael Ralph Bundred

This site is a tribute to Michael Bundred. He is much loved and will always be remembered.

We also want to celebrate the life of his son Andrew Bundred who passed away in 2017. 

Feel free to post tributes, donations, candles and photos of Michael to help remember him.

A celebration of Michael Bundred's life

Funeral service is at Easthampstead Park Crematorium on Wednesday 20th March 2024 at 1pm. Note: There will also be a live streaming service for people to watch online or abroad, details are in the events section.

The wake will commence from 2.15pm onwards at Easthampstead Park Hotel (5 mins round the corner) full details below. Many Thanks.

Thoughts

There are not many people in my life that I would describe as a friend - Mike was one of them. I had not seen him since school until last year, and I was glad I saw him then. I will remember him. My thoughts are with his family at this very sad time.

I've known Bunny since infant school, through juniors to Sutton Grammar and beyond. He really was a one-off, seriously intelligent but also up for any mischief and fun that was going. Though we saw less of each other in recent years it was always good to catch up and reminisce about the old days. There was a lot to remember, far too many escapades, in most cases of which he was the instigator. To those of us who knew him at school the idea of him becoming a local councillor was most amusing, almost a case of poacher turned gamekeeper. Goodbye old mate, it was impossible to be in your company and not have a laugh.
